Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and concealer review
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer

I had an itch to expand my foundation collection recently. It’s been a while since I’ve had more mid/high-end foundation (I’ve been so satisfied with L’Oreal Infallible), but felt it was time to branch out again. Last year I tried some foundation samples that were nice, just not quite what I was looking for so I put my search on pause.

L’Oreal Lash Paradise First Impression/Review

L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara
L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara
I’ve had my eye on the L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara (9.99 at Ulta) for a little bit since it was getting so much hype, but in addition to that L’Oreal is hands down one of my favorite mascara brands. I am in love with their Telescopic and Voluminous mascaras so when I heard about Lash Paradise, well you know that was going to make it into my stash at some point! This review is based on having tried it a handful of times since I pretty much just bought it last week. Naturally I found myself comparing this mascara to the other L’Oreal ones I have. I got mine in the shade blackest black which is my usual mascara shade preference.

Even Deeper Cleansing Oil by International Face Station

International Face Station Even Deeper Cleansing Oil
International Face Station Even Deeper Cleansing Oil
Hey Friends! Summer has officially started and I’m back to my blogging ways! Teaching is over for a bit and though you’d think I’d welcome days off with open arms, it does take a few days for me to get into the summer rhythm. I’m sure I’ll get over it though!

Disclosure: This product was sent to me for free. All opinions are my own.

I’m reviewing the Even Deeper Cleansing Oil by International Face Station. I’ve always been a little weary of using oils on my face even though they’re supposed to be OK for different skin types (I get oily for the record). I’ve tried different brands before and stopped just because I didn’t see any benefits but who knows if I was even using them correctly. Since receiving this, I’ve become more interested in how they are actually used. Cleansing oils can be used alone or in conjunction with another cleanser of your choice (double-cleansing I guess is the official term).  Anyway, here are details about the product:

Wish List/On-My-Radar Product Reviews!

On-My-Radar Product Reviews
On-My-Radar Product Reviews
Hey friends! I was able to get my hands on the four products I’ve been wanting from my last On My Radar post. I didn’t get all of these at once but over the course of the last two months. Most of these are higher-end except for the Milani. I don’t frequently buy more expensive items but have no problem dropping more if I personally think I’ll like something or just want that luxury feel here and there! I’ve had these for a little now, so at this point I wanted to follow up and share my thoughts!

Current Favorite Brow Products!

My current favorite brow products
Favorite Brow Products
Hey guys! April and May have been pretty inconsistent for my blog-I have been zoning in at work, mom stuff-baby boy just turned 3 so we had a little party for him, and…who really knows?! Life.

But back to the topic- brows. I didn’t always do my brows as part of my makeup routine unless it was for special events, but now I can’t imagine NOT doing them! Brows have become part of my daily routine. I’ve mainly used pencils in the past but have wanted to try different forms of brow products (pomade, brow gel/tint, powders…I love to play after all!) and I wanted to share current brow products that I’ve been enjoying so far and a little about how I use each. This post will focus on the colored brow products I use most.

NYX Pro Foundation Mixer (White)

NYX Pro Foundation Mixer in White
NYX Pro Foundation Mixer in White

Hey everyone! So l recently decided that some of my foundations were just a tad too warm for this time of year- not by much, but could be a little lighter. I’m no stranger to mixing foundations together to get to the shade I need, even if they’re different brands. But I usually do this in the summer when I need it darker and not the other way around. Instead of buying a lighter foundation this time, I wanted to try drops or mixers that would adjust my foundation. This seemed like more of a straight shot and less guesswork, the idea of using something more concentrated that would work with most liquids.

Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in Lustrous Sapphire

Now and again I like to add a touch of bold color to my lids via eyeliner or a hint of shadow. I think it breaks up the monotony of my typical browns, blacks or neutral liners and I just love playing around with different colors!

Makeup Revolution Iconic Lights & Contour Pro Palette

Makeup Revolution Iconic Lights & Contour Palette review
Makeup Revolution Iconic Lights & Contour Palette

Hey everyone! Today I’ll be reviewing the Makeup Revolution Iconic Lights & Contour Pro Palette (geez what a mouthful)! I’m assuming you know what contouring is but just in case-contouring is giving your face more dimension by receding areas with a darker shade (under cheekbones, under jaw etc.) while highlighting other parts of your face (cheekbones, bridge of nose etc.) with a lighter powder, concealer, or highlighter. There are different products you can use for this of course, but today is all about this palette!

Eyeshadow Palette Haul
Recent Eyeshadow Palette Purchases
Hey there, Beauts! Happy MARCH! We (kinda) made it through winter and spring is sounding really good right now! Good thing it’s right around the corner.

In today’s post I want to share with you the neutral/nude palettes I ended up getting towards the end of last year. If you’ve been following my blog, you may remember that a few months ago I was trying to decide between a couple. I was looking to get some new palettes because I had a meh palette that was way old and I was over it basically, and I really didn’t have many others unless you count quads or duos. All the pretty new palettes were calling my name.

Review of E.L.F. Moisturizing Lipstick in Wine Tour

E.L.F. Moisturizing Lipstick in Wine Tour review
E.L.F. Moisturizing Lipstick, Wine Tour

Greetings Beauts! Hope you are doing well! Love it or hate it, (I personally love it), Valentine’s Day is around the corner so I felt a little compelled to review this kinda lip color for the occasion! Normally I think of pink or red lips for Valentine’s day, but purple-y colors may also be up your alley. If you’re a little scared of purple, don’t be. You may find this one to be wearable.

I’ve purchased a few thing from E.L.F. recently. I reviewed some of their matte lip color lipsticks here, and today I’ll be reviewing the E.L.F. Moisturizing Lipstick, $3.00, in the shade Wine Tour. E.L.F. is such an affordable brand that has some good quality products-always nice to find cheap thrills like that!  So here goes my thoughts on this lipstick!
