Hey Friends! Today I’ll be sharing with you my lip product organization and recent lip declutter (you can read about my other lip declutter here). This post has been a long time coming, but I just wanted it to be as updated as possible. For me the cycle of decluttering and acquiring never really ends, it just takes breaks. I don’t think I’ll be doing either for a while (at least with lip products) so I figured now would be a great time to share! Continue reading “Lip Product Organization/Declutter Summer 2017”
I’ve had my eye on the L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara (9.99 at Ulta) for a little bit since it was getting so much hype, but in addition to that L’Oreal is hands down one of my favorite mascara brands. I am in love with their Telescopic and Voluminous mascaras, so when I heard about Lash Paradise, well you know that was going to make it into my stash at some point! This review is based on having tried it a handful of times since I pretty much just bought it last week. Naturally I found myself comparing this mascara to the other L’Oreal ones I have. I got mine in the shade blackest black which is my usual mascara shade preference. Continue reading “L’Oreal Lash Paradise First Impression/Review”
Hey, Guys! So I haven’t really been keeping up too well on the blog with the few hauls I’ve had this year, but figured why not just catch up in a lump sum? I buy products here and there but not nearly as much makeup as you might think for being a beauty blogger-at least maybe compared to others in the beauty community or even myself when I was in my twenties. It’s just not something I do regularly, unless it’s something I need, run out of and want to replace, or want to try. It comes and goes in spurts. I have cycles where I’m buying more in a period, and then a lot less or pretty much nothing for a month or more. Just how I roll!
Hey everyone! Well I couldn’t let summer by without doing my warmer weather makeup “routine” here on the blog! Some things remain constant like the order my makeup goes on, but in terms of beauty products…well, I don’t stick to just one thing religiously, but have certain items I tend to use more often in a summer rotation.
I also like to use summer as a time to retry the makeup I haven’t worn in a while to see how I feel about it. Not that I don’t do that all year anyway, but since I’m not heading off to work I feel even more freedom to play with certain products I haven’t really touched. This summer I’m also focusing on using up products that are nearly finished so I can minimize/update my stash if needed. So let’s go through what I’ve been doing and using in each area! Hey everyone! Happy July! So I’m within a reasonable window to post last month’s empties, usually I’m 2-3 weeks behind. If that makes me feel like I’m kind of on top of things these days, I’ll take it. I’ve been a bit lax on blogging and just life lately and I really don’t have any real excuse. Just that I’ve been lazy and tired starting off this summer break! It’s weird how much more tired I get now that I’m off.
Hey Friends! Summer has officially started and I’m back to my blogging ways! Teaching is over for a bit and though you’d think I’d welcome days off with open arms, it does take a few days for me to get into the summer rhythm. I’m sure I’ll get over it though!
Disclosure: This product was sent to me for free. All opinions are my own.
I’m reviewing the Even Deeper Cleansing Oil by International Face Station.I’ve always been a little weary of using oils on my face even though they’re supposed to be OK for different skin types (I get oily for the record).I’ve tried different brands before and stopped just because I didn’t see any benefits but who knows if I was even using them correctly.Since receiving this, I’ve become more interested in how they are actually used. Cleansing oils can be used alone or in conjunction with another cleanser of your choice (double-cleansing I guess is the official term). Anyway, here are details about the product: Continue reading “Even Deeper Cleansing Oil by International Face Station”
Hey everyone! Here we are in the middle of June with last month’s empties. It only took two weeks but better late than never I guess! Mainly skincare empties but I have a mascara and blush thrown in this time as well (though one wasn’t exactly an empty, just needed to let it go). Enjoy! Continue reading “May 2017 Empties!”
Hey friends! I was able to get my hands on the four products I’ve been wanting from my last On My Radar post. I didn’t get all of these at once but over the course of the last two months. Most of these are higher-end except for the Milani. I don’t frequently buy more expensive items but have no problem dropping more if I personally think I’ll like something or just want that luxury feel here and there! I’ve had these for a little now, so at this point I wanted to follow up and share my thoughts! Continue reading “Wish List/On-My-Radar Product Reviews!”
Hey guys! April and May have been pretty inconsistent for my blog-I have been zoning in at work, mom stuff-baby boy just turned 3 so we had a little party for him, and…who really knows?! Life.
But back to the topic- brows. I didn’t always do my brows as part of my makeup routine unless it was for special events, but now I can’t imagine NOT doing them! Brows have become part of my daily routine. I’ve mainly used pencils in the past but have wanted to try different forms of brow products (pomade, brow gel/tint, powders…I love to play after all!) and I wanted to share current brow products that I’ve been enjoying so far and a little about how I use each. This post will focus on the colored brow products I use most. Continue reading “Current Favorite Brow Products!”
Hey everyone! So l recently decided that some of my foundations were just a tad too warm for this time of year- not by much, but could be a little lighter. I’m no stranger to mixing foundations together to get to the shade I need, even if they’re different brands. But I usually do this in the summer when I need it darker and not the other way around. Instead of buying a lighter foundation this time, I wanted to try drops or mixers that would adjust my foundation. This seemed like more of a straight shot and less guesswork, the idea of using something more concentrated that would work with most liquids.
