Another month of empties down (or, in my case, 2 months)! Pretty much all of these empties are body/hair products (they tend to go much faster than my makeup), and one face product. Here they all are:
Garnier BB Cream is easy and quick for those days you need some coverage or just something to even out your skin tone but don’t feel like dealing with foundation. The newer one I repurchased has SPF which is even better. Since it is a BB Cream, it won’t bind or stay on the way a foundation ever will, but it stays on well enough for me. The only thing that stinks is that they only have 2 shade choices as far as I know, so if neither of them work then you’re out of luck. And if you’re on the oily side, you will need to set with a powder and blot throughout the day. I still use it regardless! Available in different formulas for different skin types.
I’ve reviewed the Suave Conditioner in a previous empties post and now I’ve used up the actual shampoo. It’s pretty good, especially at such a low price point. My hair doesn’t feel stripped afterwards and feels clean, so no complaints! The scent is OK, but it doesn’t really linger in my hair that long so it’s no biggie.
The Amazing Grace conditioner by Philosophy is really nice! I love this brand. They make such yummy scents and you can feel the quality. Amazing Grace is a light floral scent that is in no way overpowering. It’s a soft, feminine scent that is truly unique and really lasts. I used up the shampoo a long time ago (I also have the perfume) and if you haven’t tried it, it’s good-made my hair really shiny and smooth, and using this conditioner with it really made my hair look really healthy and smell so pretty! I continued using the conditioner with other brands long after I finished their shampoo.
I received this L’Occitane Honey shower gel (another favorite brand of mine) for Christmas and loved it! It smells exactly like real honey, lathered so nicely and felt moisturizing. I don’t know if it was the cube shape of the bottle or the brand itself but it was a nice little luxury to use in the shower. All the honey without the sticky. I’d definitely buy it again!
I used up these little travel Bath and Body works lotions- the Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte was a carryover from last fall, and the Oahu Coconut Sunset I used over the spring and summer. If you read this post, you know how I feel about good ‘ole Bath and Body Works! These smelled lovely and exactly like their names. These lotions are good for a light moisturizing. I wouldn’t say they keep you moisturized for hours, but they do the job for right after the shower. If you have really dry skin I’d go with a different formula. I’ll probably always have these little guys on hand- if you shop there at all, you can usually get coupons for them or they’re part of some deal. For quick, inexpensive scents for whatever season you’re in, this is the place to go!
So that wraps up my empties for September/October 2016! Ever have any experiences with these brands or items?
